Sense Chat promises to provide a seamless and secure communication platform that incentivizes groups with rewards while empowering creativity and passions. You will always have control over your data and how it’s used.
Messages in Private one-to-one and Group Chats are end-to-end encrypted by default. As it should be.
End-to-end encryption protects against us or third parties from reading your chats. Your data is yours.
Messages in Channels are encrypted by default, keeping your community secure.
Messages include all the data in your chats including photos, videos, and files.
All of your messages are stored on your own device.
Your identity is secure. We do not store your phone number, it is hashed the moment you enter it. And we don’t store your contacts on our servers. We don’t steal friends.
Sense Chat is a platform that you can trust to never spy on your messages or sell your data to third parties. While we want our platform to be governed by all of you, and be a safe place for expression and ideas, we realize that even with the best intentions platforms can be overrun by those who intend to do harm or conduct illegal activities. That’s why we’re here to be transparent and cover our content guidelines, how they will be enforced and how you can help Sense Chat make sense.
We’re here to help you understand our legal terms, but first let’s breakdown a few key points:
Sense Chat is for real people not bots, spam, or fake accounts. Due to this, each account requires a phone number and only one account can be created per number.
Sense Chat will grow and change as users like you use it.
Sense Chat is in beta, so some features and functions may not be available or work as expected.
The SENSE you earn in Sense Chat will not be exportable at first but this feature will be added later so you can add or remove SENSE.
We believe in the free exchange of ideas and speech, but we also must maintain a respectful and safe environment. So your messages in channels are subject to our governance rules.
We have the right to terminate and suspend accounts at any time, if you break a governance rule.
A note for parents: Sense Chat is not recommended for humans under the age of 18.
Sense Chat is in beta but we’re excited about the future. We’re working extremely hard to make a product you love and use daily.
As we build our product, we’ll also be building a DAC to govern Sense Chat. If you’re interested in learning more or being a part of the DAC please email email@example.com.
As we continue building, we hope you’ll continue providing feedback on your experience in Sense Chat. Please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or suggestions.
Sense Chat is a social messenger where content creators can share their work and community builders can engage, grow and reward their members. Our features help to prevent bots, spam and fake accounts which means more real people and real conversations.
Our commitment to the free expression of ideas is enormous, and our respect for intense debate is unending. But, our commitment to free expression does not mean anything goes. We take a different approach to content moderation but there are lines we will not allow to be crossed.
The governance rules cover our and your legal and moral responsibilities that govern free speech. We will comply with all laws and prioritize the safety and well-being of all members of Sense Chat. For example, we may be legally required or compelled to remove content for the safety of our users.
Although, all choices must be backed by a transparent and thoughtful justification that the content can cause measurable harm or intends harm.
Sense Chat will always have a responsibility to remove illegal content or any content posing a legal risk to Sense Chat. We will continue to improve our community moderation tools because we want you all to govern yourself.
We are not here to be political with content moderation. We encourage communities to self-moderate and we will continue to review our governance rules.
